I believe this might be a DDO. I found it snap some shots and put it aside. I started looking through some 1941's and stumbled across this: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1941&die_id=1941p1do019&die_state=mds Although not an exact match it resembles the T on My 1955.
Thats not damage.. thats why I posted the coppercoins link.. explain to Me how thats damaged please? cause it sure looks like the link I posted and why is the coppercoins cent not damaged but mines is? You can see the doubling in the T.
It is damage. The problem is this isn't a 1941, which is know to have a broken T hub. The broken T isn't what makes it a doubled die either. The doubling does.
If you take a hammer to a windshield and it breaks.. thats damage.. much like what I see in the picture that you posted. If your an expert why would you come here looking for opinions from people who have only been doing this stuff for 40+ years?
