About 6 months ago I picked up an NGC PF67 example. The NGC pop report only list 82 (1 PF68Cam) of these as having been graded. How rare is this? Also, what is fair market value for it? I'm not looking to sell, I just can't seem to find a lot of info on it. Ken
From my experience there are several examples of this coin floating around. It is certainly a substantial doubled die with a super spread. I have personally owned 3 and ended up keeping a PF66 ANACS example. I paid $35 for that one and have seen them range from $25 to $200 in 66 grade.
I acquired an NGC certified Proof 68 speciman of the 1955 TDR FS-035. It cost me $130 at that time. It is really a nice variety. The tripling really jumps out at you. I believe it is actually quadrupled on the second A of AMERICA. I acquired my speciman from Scott Brennan.
