1955 s uncirculated penny - error coin ?

    I have a 1955 s uncirculated penny with the bottom of the first "5" filled.
    Is this a rarity or just worth the Red Book value. Very pretty coin though.
    No pics available now, but I would rate it as MS-63.

    A picture would be nice. Doesn't sound like anything horribly rare.

    For some reason, 1955 was notorious for that. They are fairly common. If you were lucky enough to find the right buyer, you might get an extra quarter for it.
