Nice example of a die crack - I remember first finding these back in the late 50's/early 60's. At that time, finding die cracks, blob letters and numbers, BIE's, etc. were fun and exciting to get in change. Some of them, in fact most of them, were salable at that time for .50C to a dollar or two, but soon there were more found in circulation (or in BU rolls) than there were collectors for them, and the values went down to almost nothing - simple reason being that, just as you did today, they can still be found easily. It's a great coin to learn things - what a die crack (or other die error) looks like, and to compare it to a scratch, or something else that might confuse someone. It's a learning experience.
