    hi all,
can anyone point me to a good WEB reference for 1955 cent varieties?
I have a 1955 with a distinctly doubled "D" in GOD..... wondering if it is something worth keeping.

    Thanks

There are 6 DDO varieties on coppercoins, but none have just a single letter appearing doubled. Until we could see a closeup of it, I suspect machine doubling damage or perhaps more common , die deterioration similar to that on some 1955 of the date, which produced the "poorman's doubled die", which of course it really isn't.

Thanks for the suggestion -- I looked there (coppercoins.com) and didn't see it. I will try to get a picture of this later and post it. My camera sucks for this stuff though......
