This auction was pulled early because the coin is supposedly a fraud, this was gleaned from RCC. Makes me want to quit allmost. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1390025040
Hi Jess. Looks to me like the auction ran the full seven days and ended with no bids. Alan Herbert posted a reply to this subject on the RCC saying that this indeed could be a legit DDO. There are many DDO's and DDR's out there that are real but they just aren't as famous as the few "biggies" out there. There are something crazy like 7 or more?? DDO's for the 1972 alone but they just aren't as well known becuase of the dramatic 1972. Jason Craton
That is quite a good possibility Jason. I may be wrong, but I think if the seller was *really* trying to run a scam, he wouldn't have used a 1955 D !

Jason: Alan Herbert posted a reply to this subject on the RCC saying that this indeed could be a legit DDO. One reason to take RCC with a grain of salt. It is hard to tell the details from a scan, yet that is all we have in cases like this. That is one reason why certification is so important.
