Came across this today and was wondering what you think? I leaning towards a lamination. The D in GOD. KIMG0635.JPG KIMG0636.JPG

I think I might see a die chip on the B in liberty, but can't tell about the D in GOD!! Can you take a close up of the D?

HMM!!! I'm still not sure but think it could be a lamination!! Wait for more knowledgeable members to post!! The closeup will help them!!

A very small Lamination in the area where the D was struck. IMO

    Hey @chris jarrell
Suggestion. Try the Error Coins forum for your future questions on an error coin. The Coin Chat forum is fine but you might get more responses at the other one.

Thanks for the info. Not sure why I haven't been doing that all this time.

Better photos would certainly help. Try cropping out all background and then post Full Image.
I'm leaning towards damage, without having the coin in hand or much better pictures.

Definitely a lamination but a very small one. Small is better than none.
