1955 D DDO&R

    Have a double die obverse and reverse. how much would it be worth? one has never been discovered.

    As Chris said in a rather roundabout way, posting clear and well-lit photos would be in your best interest and allow us to see what you actually have.

    Wait..are you telling us that you discovered one? Or are you asking if anyone has ever discovered a DDO and DDR 1955?

    I have discovered one, but can't seem to find any other discovery on it, other than the DDO..

    Title of the thread says it's a 1955-D.
    So thousands of collectors have looked at millions of 1955-D's for over 60 years,
    and of course this is the first discovery of a 1955-D DDO and DDR.
    I mean I am sure these things happen, but I find it unlikely.

    Without clear, close up photos/scans of the doubled areas,
    we can't be 100% sure, but I would be 99.5% sure that
    the doubling you see is common ejection or mechanical doubling.

    I've seen it on most dates/mm/denominations, including 55-D
    cents.
