That definitely appears to be a late die state of the D/D/D. This is exactly what I am talking about in my Die State thread: http://www.cointalk.com/forum/t59262/ On your coin, the third D, which is punched very wide to the south, has completely worn off and you can't see it. This means that LDS examples of this variety are worth a significant discount over the MDS coins where the third D is clearly visible.
