Hello I have a 1945-S Nickel with the big mintmark under E Pluribus Unum. Is this coin rare? Is it the wartime version one?
You might have a "1945-S" Nickel not a 1954-s Just check it again. War Nickels started mid 1942 and lasted until 1945. If its a 1954-s, the mint mark is to the right of the House as I call it. Hope this helps. Someone else will probably tell you more or give a better answer. Dean 295
