    I'll guess the coin was made from thin stock.

    Most of us won't be able to even see the inscriptions without close-ups of the coin. Please take it off the scale and use "Full Image."

    Definitely an underweight planchet, I see no evidence of damage or corrosion. One thin I do not is that the strike appears to be full at Lincoln's shoulder and the corresponding area on the reverse, an area that is frequently weak and weak or missing at 1:00 and the corresponding area on the reverse. This makes me think possibly a tapered planchet.

    It is a little light and thinly rolled planchet is a possibility.
    Range of -.13/+.13 is 2.98g-3.24g.
