Hi Kamil. Condition is everything when it comes to value. We need photos to determine that condition.

Thanks for posting such a "clear" question. lol. I hope you don't mind. I think humor is good for the Soul.

More importantly, Welcome to Coin Talk !!

Looks like it may go for an uncirculated note.

Nice note !! Keep it in the sleeve at all times. Don't take it out to "play" with it. Don't take it out to show people. Don't let anyone handle it. Keep it lying flat.

In the top photo I'm seeing a crease/fold straight across the center, and a "blotch" to the side of the seal. I hope it's just the photo. Was there a price sticker on the sleeve? There are colored spots/areas that may be the photo?

In the bottom photo I'm seeing some colored spots/areas that I hope are just the result of the photo. Corners are very important. The top right corner appears to have some slight damage.

Kamil, can you address those things I've pointed out?

    Is there a crease/fold line?

Is there a blotch on the bill? on the sleeve?

Are there colored spots/areas on the bill? or is it just the pix?

Is the top right corner damaged?

    Thanks Kamil.

there is a crease/fold line in the middle in some areas there are random crease lines.
I removed the price sticker off the sleeve and that is the blotch mark
there are some gary spots around the bill but no much
All the corners are in good condition

Not by much, since these have been worth $3 ($5 in very good, crisp condition)
for a number of years already. $2 60 years ago was worth MUCH more than the $3 that it is worth today. If you wait 20 more years and it is worth 4 or 5 dollars,
you aren't gaining anything, as that is worth less than $3 is worth today.
These notes while extremely cool, are not rare, so no the value is not going to shoot up.

Seems high unless it is super crisp. $5 max.

I don't mean to discourage you. You didn't overpay by much, and it's like anything else, if you like it (and I happen to like these notes). it's not very expensive, and the years of enjoyment you can get out of just having it in your collection and appreciating it, are worth a lot more than the money invested.
Sure, one day, you can sell it for $7 and break even. But this isn't the kind of thing you are going to flip and make a quick profit on.
The point I was trying to make on value and long term holding can be illustrated this way: 50 years ago that $2 bill could have been spent for 4 Big Macs. Today that same bill if sold (let's say $4) is worth 1 Big Mac. One Big Mac which is smaller and far less satisfying than a Big Mac from 50 years ago. So now, you hold onto this note and in the future, you are able to break even and sell it for $7. Which will probably be the price of a Big Mac.

I thought you actually found a red $2 bill, as if it had been dyed or something! It's just the serial # in red. I'd say it's worth two bucks.

Look at it this way. It's really neat to look at. You spent the $7 to have and hold it for as long as you want.

If you went to a fast food place it would cost you about that, and after a few hours, you would have nothing. Not the money and you would be hungry again.
If you went to a show, the money would be gone and all you would have is the memory of the movie.

Just release the thought that you paid the money for it and enjoy having it. In the future, you can sell it and that money would be a bonus.
