i found a 1953 pennie with no raised outter lip and the L in LIBERTY is missing and the top half of IN GOD WE TRUST is also missing and the back side is the same pics didnt come out clear but i was wandering if any one has seen some thing like this befor and what it might be worth thanks

Use a tripod and macro (close up) setting if your camera has one. If all else fails you can try to scan it on a flatbed scanner.
Post mint damage. Possibly removed from an encasement or maybe just with the rims flattened. Maybe with a piece of pipe or a socket.
