1953 P Penny - Die Breaks/Cud on Reverse - Possible Lamination Error on Obv.

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Brandon Purdum, Jan 7, 2024.

  1. Found a 1953 P Penny with two possible die cracks/breaks on the reverse, running up each stalk. One is north on the left stalk; the other is south
on the right, stretching to the rim. Possible lamination error on Obverse as well. Looks pretty cool. Any thoughts?

The obverse looks like it could be a retained IDB. I also really like the bilevel die crack on the reverse.
