    1953-D Error?Sorry No Pics

Hi Guys. As I was looking through an album, i came across a 1953-D cent that looks like it has an error. On the obverse side, all the lettering seems to be bolded. The letters look fat compared to another 1953-D i have. Also, the "D" looks filled, to the point where it doesn't look like a D anymore, just a "D" shaped "thing"(for lack of a better word) under the 1953. The camera i have cannot focus to the level of the cent, so sorry about no pictures. I hope someone can help me out!!
    Thanks!

I Took these pictures with my camera phone and they came out pretty well. My dad's Canon camera couldn't focus and it just fluttered when I tried to take it. Anyway what are your thoughts guys?

ADMins close this. I am going to make another thread in the Error Forum

Looks like a coin struck with worn out dies to me - not an error.

VLDS stands for - Very Late Die Stage - in other words, struck with worn out dies.
