1952 D ???

    Can anyone identify what's going on the the tail end of the 9 to the D? I can't take a sharp enough picture but it looks like a backwards D. Reminds me of the 1956 D/D RPM #16. Any info will help, thanks

    I have seen that on several different cents of that time period. it is a die crack that is prone to forming in that
    area. If you look on WWW.coppercoins.com there is a 1952 d with an RPM that has an almost identicle crack on it.
