I'm going through these coins now that I purchased today off of Facebook I got them cheap so I mean I don't know if this is an error or somebody painted it gold they are sticky on rev obverse perfect i have no idea but a lot of them have gold on the reverse but the fronts are very toned I'm confused can somebody help me I'll I'll take the best pictures I can get a new phone tomorrow
If a coin is sticky...something is going on. Try soaking them in hot water for a few hours and perhaps acetone if you have any.
Many coins that are sticky have sadly been improperly cleaned. I have seen a 1910 half dollar like this, and it stuck to the display case for a bit.
