1951 S quarter... PMD or a SERIOUS rpm??

    I can not call this. it looks like there might be a lamination. thanks in advance.

    I neglected to mention in the OP about the area under the S. I know it is in rough shape in that area though.

    Looks like lamination flakes
    in that whole area.
