I was going through my old quarters putting the best ones in books, and rolling the rest today. While I was going through the 1951 quarters I found one with a D mint mark and it looks like there is a mint mark underneath the D. It is hard to describe but it looks like there is half of a mint mark sticking out of the bottom of the D. I tried several times to take pictures but none have come out well. My camera is not very good. Now I have never seen a 1950 D over S, but if I were to guess I would say it looks like an S. Would any of these have carried over to the next year? Has anyone herd of this.

    Thanks Brent :)

I have tried everything I know to get a descent picture but I guess I will have to just break down and buy a good camera. :) So what is everyones idea on a good camera? What options and specs should I look for in a camera? Does anyone have a preference in a camera make or model? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Fisherman...
Get a 5x loop and take a look.. or even a 10x...for 80.00 bucks you can get a QX5 or QX 3 and hook it up to your computer..USB format and take some great photos...Goggle search for the QX5
