I have a 1951 Wheat that is very circulated. Just happen to notice the "S" in Pluribus.

Anyone seen this before. Thanks in advance.

Don't see how it can be a nasty hit with a perfect outer edge of the S. But ......Ok

I know the coin is ruff but there should be more evidence on the flat surface of the coin to lengthen the end of the S to a point.

    Thanks

It's just damage. Something hit the coin.
