1950D Lincoln, Heavy 5

    The 5 in the date is like a tank. HUGE. The 0 next to it is also fairly large compared to the usual size of date numbers. Machine doubling?

    BTW. Can anyone post a picture of a 1936 Double Die? Much appreciated.

    Hard to say without a pic. The size variance may just be due to the date stamp used. Back in those days - they were punched in by hand.
