1950 S/D

    Hi, I have this 1950 S/D Roosevelt Dime. my question is I saw this in one of the older red books listed for $75 but in the new red books it's not listed at all. can anyone please help me with the value of this coin? IMG_4589.JPG

    I can't see a "D" under the "S".

    Flatten those staples before you scratch one of your other coins, please!

    Do you have a loop that you can take the picture through and a little better light so we can get a better look? Thanks really hard to see in your picture to verify...

    I did enlarge it the first time. So, I just enlarged it again. I still don't see a "D".

    Using a loupe for a close-up is like using a piece of wood 2"x2" for a baseball bat.

    If you have a copy of CPG ( cherrypickers guide) Vol 2, the top half of the S in yours 'could' be , but the bottom half of the S has an extra chunk in the loop, so I think it is a normal S with a worn mint mark punch used. But without better resolution no one would bet money on it. IMO,Jim
