Purchased this but it hasn’t arrived yet, wasn’t represented as an overdate. Is it an S/D? Just lighting and angle? Seems to have proper MM placement
Looks more like a D over D as an RPM would to me. Just not seeing that S curve in the center of the D.
You mean D/Sdoesn't match the example on VV at all and at this point I'm going with light illusion. http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/OMMs 1950D.htm
There is a chance though it could be RPM -004 that curve looks real similar and position is correct, better pictures are needed when available. http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/RPM Detail Pages/1950DRPM004.htm
Were you telling me or CollectingNut? I meant S/D… If you look at VV Washington OMMs click the 1950 S/D. I may also just be confused with your reply lol. I have a D/S, check my recent posts. MM location is not right for the D/S, but the S/D looks like it is
It can't be a S/D it might look similar but nonetheless your quarter was minted at Denver not the Frisco at first so it's impossible for it to be.
The fs-601 needs to look like an s first, with an underlying D. Here's the reference SCguy. http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/RPM Detail Pages/1950SOMM001.htm
Ask again when you get your hands on the coin and can get a clear picture. Of course, you may not need to then.
