1950 Lincoln Cent oddity...

    Could not get the pic to blow up, but I think post mint damage.

    Yeah, of that I am certain. Just caught my eye. Tough to do better on the lighting since it is a scan, but if you look closely, you can see where the lower right quadrant of the zero used to be. The thing that made me want a second opinion, is that under higher magnification, the zero doesn't appear to have been scraped up, or more acurately, if it was scraped to the northwest, it looks like it has been pressed or melted back to permanent. In other words, it looks to me like someone was intentionally trying to doctor the coin.

    This is damage caused by a coin counting or wrapping machine.

    This is caused by the fingers that roll the end of the paper coin wrappers. This same type damage can be seen in the same area of the coin on many different years.
    There are people on ebay that insist this is an error and try to get extra money for them but they are just damaged.

    Just damaged from circulation, I have seen many on ebay and they try and sell it as an error,but you can't fool the pro's, but the novices can be ripped off to the max,:hammer:
