    Hi All,
I bought recently this coin and made a comparison with one i found in Heritage Auction site. I'm not sure. Could you help me to figure out if my coin can be a Matte Proof, or just a circulated coin?
    Thanks in advance.

I’m no expert...but yours looks like a business strike to me. It doesn’t have the same detail or sharpness at the rims as the proof example.

Proofs of this era are sometimes a bit deceiving. I believe yours to be an ordinary non-cameo proof that has some light oxidation. Maybe it's my eyes, but the rims look reasonably sharp and the devices & lettering clean and reasonably well struck.
The mattes were media-blasted, and look distinctly different - even the matte you showed is a bit of a lesser specimen.

    I don't think it's a proof, just a good circulation strike.

I'm still not sure. But you are the experts. Thank you all for your review.
