I bought this 1950 Franklin Half Dollar as a BU Full Bell Lines coin. It just came to me today and before I open the 2x2 I need to know if this is a scratch on the cheek or is raised as a result of a die break. Or what? The last 2 are the originals and the first 2 are todays digital blue photos. Was the third photo altered? Bruce
The long vertical line on the cheek looks raised to me, but you have the coin in hand and tell better than us with pics. The shorter horizontal line right on the cheek bone looks like a scratch. And neither of them are visible in the original pic.
