1950-D Lincoln..What is it?

    Can anyone tell me what this is? It's incused, rectangular shaped.

    Kind of hard to tell, but it could be post mint or a small piece of something that was struck thru.

    Clashed die, it's one of the uprights from a letter in "One Cent" from the reverse

    Wouldn't that be the opposite of incuse?

    It's a clash mark. Clash marks are incuse.

    Ya I was thinking it might be a clash mark as well it almost lines up perfectly with the N on the reverse. Thanks for the replies.
