    I’m considering sending this off for grading and was looking for opinions on grade.

    Nice coin....... I would say MS-65...... I don't not think that you should have this graded though. Grading is to expensive for this coin..

    The coin's value is not worth grading fees, since thousands of 50D nickels were saved in mint state quality. The low mintage was known when released to the public, and rolls were hoarded by many collectors. I inherited 3 unopened bank rolls of 50 D Jefferson's.
