Just found this $20 note from 1950 (New York). I realized from other posts that this probably not worth much more than face value but after looking at several other notes on eBay, I noticed that my bill does not have a series letter under the year like all the others do. Does this make any difference? Just wondering before I spend it. Thanks
When there is no letter under the year, this indicates it is the first of those printed. When the signatures need to be changed, or any other change is made to the design, the change is signified by the letters under the year. That particular note in the condition it's in is spendable unless you are assembling a set. WELCOME TO COINTALK!!
