I thought that this $20 is in very good condition - so when my friend came across it, I bought it off of him for face value and saved it from further circulation and an untimely death at the hands of a member of the federal reserve system. :hammer: The color of this bill is much deeper than the $20s from the 80s or 90s - it really looks sharp. The scan came out a little weird (crooked). So, what do you think? Comments? :hail:
what do i think? a very nice note for face value!!! Its tough to tell a grade with all the borders clipped from the scan. but io would guess it would grade higher that about good
Thar be godless dollars you heathen, ARRRRR!!! It's funny when I see all these chain e-mails about godless dollars and think about how these people don't realize that the motto was only added to paper currency 50 years ago. thats a sweet note for face value. Congrats.
Thanks! It seems like these types of bills make their way into circulation around the holidays. I guess people's budgets get a little tighter and they dig deep and pull gems like this one out
nice find!:kewl: i'd keep that and not spend it. its worth a couple bucks over face value but the value can always go up on this kind of stuff.
i've got a question i have a 1950 $20 as well but its got 4 zeros in front and a star anything above face and if so.....how much? thanks
More information and pics would be nice. What's the full serial number? Series? 1950, 50A etc. Bring it on so we can see it. clembo

withous pics wheatman21, no one can assign any value to a note. like coins, the notes grade is the highest determining item for value.
