I have a 1950 1 Peso coin and was told that it contained .1286 ounces of silver. What % silver is that?

Agreed, according to my ancient 1991 Standard Catalog of World Coins (17th Edition) this is .300 Silver, containing .1286 oz. of Silver, with a total weight of 13.33 grams. Why do I mention the book? Because I love finding old coins I have in it ...and got this for like $3 at a Goodwill! A truly valuable book to someone like me!
