So I bought 20 rolls of wheat pennies from my brother and was going through them taking an inventory and came across the penny below. I'm not sure what to make of it but am hoping it's an obscenely valuable error coin. Anybody have any educated guesses as to what I'm looking at here?
    Thanks!

OK, what in the hell does PMD mean? Why speak in riddles assuming everyone knows what you mean? Does that make you feel superior/smarter than everyone else?

I come here to learn, not get even more confused.

So how is it possible for a date to be MOVED like that? What could strike it and cause it to shift like that? I've never seen anything like it. I'm not a metallurgist but moving the date like that shouldn't be possible IMO.

Post Mint Damage is PMD which means that a coin recieved some type of damage After it left the mint.

Well evidently smarter than you..... :p
Because a riddle would be this.. What do you call a coin collector that doesn't know the meaning of PMD? And of course the answer would be fill in the blank Dumb _ _ _!

Maybe if you really had an interest in collecting you pick up an book and read, instead of coming in here asking questions ,are you to stupid to research the answer for yourself?
I may not be smarter then everyone else but definitely smarter than a dumb millennial !
Now go look that up in your "Funk & Wagnalls !''
Oh right you don't get it do you:p

Thanks, Now how hard was that? I guess Paddy assumes everyone knows that. I appreciate the explanation.

It is possible and probable. The copper is very malleable and can be moved easily.
I also have never seen a coin like yours. But now I have. Thank you for posting it.

Or maybe a dumb____ is someone that doesn't know how to end a quote!? Nice try. Too bad everyone can't be as smart as you Paddy.

As far as me being a millenial is concerned, I was born in the 60's. I doubt I qualify. I don't know, you tell me, you're smarter than everyone else here. :dead:

Thanks to those of you who were helpful with my questions. There may be hope for this forum yet. I'm learning who to ignore and who's going to try being helpful and welcoming to new members and not insulting. :D

You were the first one to be insulting. Can you not see that? Read what you said.

Yes I can see that. It just irritates me that some people want to type a 3 letter response that is not helpful. Assuming everyone knows what every acronym means just smacks of a holier than thou attitude that just rubs me the wrong way. I apologize for being offended and for being so insulting to Paddy. Let's move on.
