I found my third 1949 S with a spiked N. I have found others that have the obverse N error which looks like -------> https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1949&die_id=1949s1mm007&die_state=mds
but these three N's are different, and not listed anywhere that I can find. I'm assuming that these three coins, with less distorted N's, are an early die state of the more distorted example listed as 007 in coppercoins?

What's most interesting with this third example is that it has a different reverse from the first two. Note the letter M in America on the third coin. I find this fascinating. A different reverse? I don't understand.

The M shows damage. It isn't a new variety. Notice the displaced metal on the device and in the field?

Ok. I see it now P&G. Interesting the shape of that displaced metal.

I'm seeing what looks like a gradual deformation of the N and then a big shift to the shape in coppercoins example 007.

No, I would think that it is a filled die. I would like to see the other two examples if you got them @Pennywise4040 . Same good close ups as the one above.
