1949 Lincoln Cent that weighs 2.86??

    Close to the 3.1 gram normal weight for copper cents.

    Without a photo, we can't tell what might possibly have
    caused your coin to weigh a touch less - that would be helpful.

    In any case, the weigh is close enough to official weight to
    be insignificant, in my opinion
