to CoinTalk labatt. Read the posting by USS656 as many times as it takes to convince you to follow its advice. Depending on condition, and which catalog you consult, the coin is valued at between CAN$20 and US$3,000! According to the 2006 Charlton Catalog of Canadian Coins, the total mintage was 672,218, including 40,718 dated 1949 but actually struck in 1950. The 2007 Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins gives the mintage as only 18,780. I'm inclined to believe Charlton in this case, but .
I dont have a camera so I cant post pictures I'm sorry. What's the difference between a canadian 20$ value and the states 3000$ value?
I'm not new to collecting I'm just new to the prices and all these things about coins. If it helps the dollar says FLOREAT TERRA NOVA under the date 1949.
Mainly the differences in price deal with the condition of the coin essentially How worn is the coin? or is there any damage or marks that distract from the visual apearance of the coin? Only the most perfect examples will command the high prices that were mentioned above!
