If someone used chemicals on this Jefferson nickel it should not have luster from the mint correct ? Its very shiny kinda looks like a dime.Clad or a quarter
Where is this going? @Willysilver I just don't see any luster at all, I want to. but just don't see any. Maybe you need to use more light with your photos.
Does this mean you don't see any also? I don't want it to appear we are making fun of the poster and the photos, but I'm beginning to think "he is pulling our leg" knowing it doesn't have any luster and his posts he knows what he is doing. Yeah, maybe he has.
Seriously, a hobby should be relaxing and rewarding. Does this seem relaxing to you? You don't even bother to learn nothing about it. You just picked up some vocabulary and come on here and try to prove something with it. Just look at this coin. Are you serious? It has luster because it's very shiny and kinda looks like a dime? Do you even understand what luster is? I've a neighbor who's a dedicated bird-watcher. Don't ask me why, but it's evidently relaxing to her. Every time you come on here you're like a train wreck. How is this helping you relax? How is it rewarding? You don't want to learn nothing, all you want to do is try to prove something. Ask yourself this, what are you getting out of this, anything? You need to learn this hobby. You need to take the time. We'll help you. We've got nothing against you. You can do it. Anybody can. But you don't want to, forget it. You're not getting nothing out of this, and neither are you impressing nobody here, hate to tell you.

Here’s the deal @Willysilver You find luster on semi well kept coins. That coin doesn’t fall into that category. Cleaned coin loose their luster. It’s that easy to do. Your coin was trashed. Hope this helps
I didn’t even look at the small thumbnails as I could see what they look like. And they look like they spent a week in a tumbling machine with some rocks.
