All, Got lucky the other night, picked up a nice looking 1948-D Franklin Half at the local coin club auction to fill a hole. I got it home and checked it out a little closer and it looks to be a DDO-004 Die Stage D / DDR-004. Thoughts on grade, I am thinking 62, a lot of odd distracting dings on Obverse? Serif split on the left of the 1 Die crack along lower bust Stage D die marker Odd looking MM - was the first thing I noticed made me pull out the old CPG. Doubled lower right clapper And the kicker....
