1947 Wheat Penny - Die Error

    I ran across this coin with number "9" looking like a "2"....I could not find reference to it anywhere... I am not a collector. Thoughts?

    It appears to be a damaged coin.

    It could be a Die Crack/extra metal from a worn out die or just damage that happen thru the years.:)
