Hi all, here's a new find of mine. I'm not quite sure what to clasify it as, the only one I can find that fits the coin is this one, and thats because there is no specifics about it. There is no Die scratch from the forehead to the "T" in trust, no Die Crack on the 9.
    any advice would be appreciated.

There is a little bit of doubling on the 4 also, not sure if that help you, or anyone give a better assessment of the RPM.
I didn't mention it in the first post because I figure it is just MD.

I see it on the 4 also, where did you get that coin?

Just an old tin of wheats. I pull it out every now and then and search it again. It's the same bunch the 22 no D came from.
Most RPM's, as far as I know, don't bring much of a premium. Maybe I'm lucky this time. ;)

I don't think it is RPM#7, or even RPM#8. The mint mark on your coin is closer to the 4 than those two varieties.

Ok thank you, is there a reference site you know with pictures? the CONECA Variety list doesnt have any pictures to go by. only text.
also.. how does the rarity scale work?
    Which is Scarcer,URS-3 or URS-7
and what does URS stand for?

There are several different rarity scales. URS is the Universal Rarity Scale. URS-3 means 3-4 coins are known. URS-7 means 33-64 coins are known. Under URS as the number goes up the number of coins known goes up.

The Sheldon Scale goes in the opposite direction. R-7 means 4-12 coins are known and R-3 means over 200 coins are known.

    Thank you Hobo.
Those numbers seem awful low. You would think coins with that rarity, even the 33 - 64 rarity, would be worth a heck of a lot more than 5 or 10 dollars.

I have come to the conclusion this is a:
    1947 D- 1MM-005
D/D/D Rotated CW & CCW (whatever the heck that means)
    CONECA RPM# 005

worth about 3$ in this condition.

I think it;s a triple MM you could see three disdinct MM's you could see seperation on the D, a really nice find indeed. This is a 1MM -006 tripled Mint Mark
