Yep. My people hung onto stuff for 80 years so I could inherit face value. Lol

Yes… you could have that 43. Dad has been gone since 2001… Mom 2016… the thing is, at times I think about the errors they through away or tossed aside thinking it was junk lol. But it’s ok. Anything like the Morgan’s, Susan’s, JFKs etc, saving for my son. Some quarters or etc that are not perfect now, that 1947… or 1881 etc will look good to some in 25 yrs or so. My son is a history buff so I know he will research. He is 25yrs old now… but I know he will enjoy them. Foreign coins as well. My dad traveled for work. Have fun and well, just think of their thoughts. Sounds corny but hey, people start off for different reasons. People search for different reasons. May be junk to one but treasure to another! Makes the world go around lol! Thanks!!! :) For breaking it to me gently. Lol!

It’s hard because it’s all close to home. Doesn’t change the monetary value.
But we need to do what we need to do. And we’ll find those pieces we need to keep.
Basically, I’ve figured out that inheriting thousands of wheaties is a burden. Lol
I’m glad you were here. Thanks for letting me tag along in group therapy sorta speak.

Awww that is nice. Appreciate that. Yes it’s bitter sweet I guess. I do look at it this way. If you had one that is worth selling, I know my dad would say sell sell sell lol! You just do what you feel what they would say. :)

Mine passed in 2013 and 2021. If we had kids I’d have already passed on the pennies. Lol
My brother priced shipping gold and silver home and ended up taking it in his carry on. I got the pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters by default (lived closest to mom).

I think that’s exactly right. I’ve had all the parents and grandparents stuff in a safe since 2013. Started going through it months before mom died. She was running low on cash (those old people homes ain’t cheap) and I was getting ready to take everything to a coin shop and sell it.
    Other powers intervened.

Great hole plunger coin. We gotta get you up to collector status. Lol I just filled 2 Whitman’s folders from 1941 to 1973 except for a few coins.,I need 4 coins in one folder and 5 in the other to fill them. I didn’t purchase a single coin as I have do many. The problem is, I still have more to go through than what I went through. Lol
