    Here's a 1947 Canadian silver dollar, with a "pointed 7".
I haven't seen it yet, I got these pics off a webpage from
a store about 10 minutes from my house. I was thinking of buying it.
Any opinions on what grade this might be? and what a good price is for it?

Can you tell us what the seller is grading it and a price in US $? I have resources to check for you. I can't determine the grade, but since it is a fairly expensive coin, it would be nice to have a TPG's opinion of it. It doesn't look MS to me, maybe EF-40...

I'd call it EF, with the detail in the hair an the lack of wear in the centre of the canoe it could even be AU.CCN trends gives a value of $175.00 - $220.00 CDN.

Well theyre selling it as part of an 'estate sale', so they wont guess at a grade, theyre just acting as middleman for someone who has set the price.
Although because pictures of coins don't always truely represent the actual coin, I'm going to check it out tomorrow, because it could be quite a bit better or worse than what the picture shows.
    The price is $65 Cdn.

$65 Cdn seems like a 'too good to be true' price. If the coin is 'problem free', I'd say it's undervalued. That would make me look verrrrrry closely. This is a coin dealer, right?
