Its been a lazy Sunday and I thought I would take some time and go through some of my more recent purchases of Washington Quarters for my registry set and look for varieties. Nothing until I got to my 1946 S NGC MS65. The S clearly matches the Cherrypickers guide for the FS-501 on page 175. I know it probably isn't worth reslabbing for the attribution, but it is still cool enough for me anyway.
Very cool, sorry to hijack your thread but does this look like s/s on my '46s, I have noticed that it sorta looks like it.
Sure would be a very good plan to have graded again with details. Variety would have a good resale value. Compared to plan MS 65 1946-S Washington Quarter. Ngc may decide it's a MS 66 Fs- 501???
