no idea on an actual value, now if you go by ebay values, you can probly get 30-40 bucks, seen lincolns from 80's with smaller cuds sell for 20 bucks on the bay...

Ken thank you for the insights on this coin. I work 60 plus hours a week which is 4 days long so I was to bed early or would of replied sooner. I use several sites worth point the most and of course e bay but could not get a reference on this style of error coin. My gift this year from the Boss was 90 pounds of pennies a woman has been tossing into a vase since the 40s, I don't need to tell you want I will be doing with ALL of my free time. Best to you and may these days be special for you. Rusty

wow thats gotta be around 15k, or 300 rolls, or 12 boxes of pennies, that'll keep you busy for a while, hope to see your finds posted in "roll searchers" thread!

Yes I will share. After I carried these coins in yesterday my wife said the hard parts over,I had to laugh as I caught my breath, because while there is a lot of work ahead it is the fun part. I have gone through literally 100s of boxes of KHDs and pennies in lots of up to 20.00 I have never tried a lot of this size, and I want to have to touch each coin as few times as possible. My mind is a blaze with ides on how to do it best. There is clearly enough coins here it merits separating out the copper 1961 to 1981. I would never melt coins but I am thinking of bulk value and my new found desire to have my hobby pay for its self. I will post the finds soon in roll searchers till then may your pickin be fruitful Rusty
