One of my sons found a peculiar penny this evening. It's a 1946 S. Instead of "WE TRUST" on the top right, there's a reverse image of "IN GOD" again. On the right side (at about 2 0'clock"), there's also a reverse image of "libi" from liberty. The penny is only in fair condition.

The reverse images are indented, instead of raised.

Does anyone have an idea of what we have here??? Thank you very much.

Next time you have some time to waste, put a piece of leather or soft wood on a table, then stack two coins on top of one another, put more leather or soft wood on top, strike firmly with a hammer, and wellah, your cent has a companion. [IMG]
