While looking for rpms, this old crusty caught my eye Correct Die markers were all there but couldn't id this MM style..Looks vaguely like a trumpet tail but has been to the buffet too many times. Ignorance wins again! Don't know what to call this one...anyone have a guess? Wed Nov 28 21-16-53.jpg

    Maybe just circulation wear?

Quite possible paddyman98. When I looked at stage B pics, the font style ( squatty shortened 4) and a not so obvious split tail 9 seemed eerily like that of the '46 but the chubby trumpet tail didn't seem to fit the pictures. Only stage B confirmed so thinking stage C could only be a quess. The smashed 4 could be a grease fill but couldn't confirm the S mintmark style with any listed in Variety Vista. Maybe just a Twilight Zone moment?

The MM is a sans serif you can tell by the top of the S. Also the MM and date do not match the positioning. I think what you are seeing as a DDO is only damage to the devices.
