1946 PMD?

    Tons of damage any ideas what may have caused it? Thanks for any thoughts! 2.3 grams.

    can't even guess with those fuzzy out of focus images.

    But then, it would only be a "guess"
    many things over time can happen in 73 years. So it probably isn't just "one thing" .. but a long history of many things occurring to it in it's life time.

    but it's still worth 1 cent.

    There is no question in my mind. This coin was caught in a sluice box at a gold mining camp in the Yukon.

    I originally wrote .. what model sluice box ... but changed it to J-U-I-C-E box .. in case you didn't see that. ;)
