    And I saw your other posts. No, it looks like a normal Cupronickel Nickel.

    It also may have a mint mark if I remember correctly… didn’t they move to the obverse at a later time?

    Just curious, without a pic of the reverse, how would we know there is no mint mark?

    I think this all started off when @ashley denise chaney thought this might be on a silver composition planchet. It does have that old silvery look, and I think she was referencing the large mint mark above Monticello. @ashley denise chaney you would probably have to take this to a dealer who has a Sigma tester. Welcome to CT.
