Looks more like a die deterioration issue. IMHO

The coin took a few hits. Normal for a coin of this age.

    It's 2 against 2 Sal so we're the victors. Where do I collect my 2 grand? IMG_20210218_065627~2.jpg IMG_20210218_070420.jpg IMG_20210218_065627.jpg

The photos are not clear enough to make a judgement. The five variations listed in
http://varietyvista.com/05 JN RPMs/RPMs 1946D.htm do not match this coin. Enlarged clear photos, in normal orientation, are needed using a light source from north, south, east and west.

Sal has more wrong opinions than right opinions. I don't see an RPM either.

Oops! Corrected to RPM instead of OMM.

So it has to match. That's interesting this 1970 S doesn't match either so what would you call it

Honestly, I attempt to make my judgements based upon the best information I can find. Photos that are not clear and crisp do not allow quality responses. I also realize many members do not have the funds to purchase scopes or other devices to take enhanced photos which adds to the difficulty of answering questions.
Now to your question. Poor quality photos render my consideration pointless.
