I found this Loberty cent in a bag of coins my Grandmother left me. I looked all over the internet with no luck, other then a thread here on this site...I will surely appreciate any help with this coin. Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge...have a great evening.

Post Mint Damage. Somehow the L and the I in LIBERTY were crushed and damaged to resemble LOBERTY... By the way do you happen to know jcharmsway?

There are a lot of people who like to give their error coins quirky names in the hope that the name will help sell the coin. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.

Yes Chris people do like to name their error coins but the funny thing is I just read this name out when I saw it. I guess it named itself. Have a glorious day.

The strange thing about it is that the l and o are like liquid running together maybe my photo is not as good as it can be there now that is better. I really do not think that could be post mind damage. It is just to fluid. And thanks for your reply have a fabulous evening. 20150216_002327.jpg
