1946 inverted S ?

    Looks like a normal trumpet tail S to me...

    The top of the S is slightly smaller than the bottom. Sorry but it looks completely normal to me. I'm on laptop so I turned it over to invert your picture and it definately looks awkward inverted. I believe yours is normal.

    The inverted S is a ball serif S, not a trumpet tail...

    I think it was the shinny spot n the tail that was throwing me off.
